Whether you remember him as "The Barron" or Roger"Von" Otto,
you'll remember a guy who always made his way to the front!
Roger was inducted into the Southeastern Wisconsin Short Track Hall of Fame in 2008!
Heres Roger in 1959!
I'd like to thank Ken Kerkman for the following photos!
Heres Roger in 72. Roger built the car
and it was owned by Don Pulara. Ken
Kerkman purchased the car for the 73
season.
Heres a little rework for the 73 season
Roger knew one thing and one thing
only! Anyone who knew Roger knew
racing was his life! If he wasn't working
he was racing! On Nov 1st 2008 Roger
was inducted into the Southeastern
Wisconsin Short track Hall of Fame.

Here is the plaque that hangs in the
hall of Fame Honoring him.

Thanks to Former car owner Ken
Kerkmen for coming up to the Schaur
Center to except this great honor for
Roger.
In the beginning of the 1974 season after winning 6 features in a
row, Roger lost the ride because of a disagreement with his car
owner.  Bill Klein then took over the ride and finished 3rd in points
at Lake Geneva.
Here are the Kerkmans in the Hall of
Fame next to Etchies Sweet-N-Sassy
Super!
Ken can be seen seated 2nd from left.
