Bill Portalski was another one of those guy's who was always knockin at the door!  Although never a
champion Bill put on a pretty good show back in the day. I met Bill a few years back at the last Asphalt
Sprint show at Lake Geneva. I had Pop's car on display there when Bill excitedly stopped by. "It looks just
like when I bought it from Pop in 73"!  I was kind of surprised by this because I was told Scott Sorenson
purchased the car from Pop.  Bill said he crashed it twice in 6 weeks and promptly sold it back to Pop.  
Been trading emails ever since!   Thanks for sharing these Bill, love the surprise shot of your car
