The Sivia Brothers out of Waukegan ILL represent the epitome of the old school open wheel fans.
Whether it was a short trip to the track at Waukegan or a ride over the state line to Wilmot, if the
races were happing they were there.  From simple fans to crew guy to owners and driver these
guy's have done it all!  Even today the family runs a Sprinter with a second generation pilot behind
the wheel. I got an invite to their 2010 Daytona Party at Jim Sivia's Frolic Tavern and Grill just down
the street from the old Waukegan track.  Great time!
Not only was the 500 runnin on the TV's, guest were asked to bring their old school photos as well.
New pages featuring Joe Kristan, Mike Sivia and Ray Ra

Bay Darnell's USAC ride
Here's a nice clear shot of Bay Darnell
in his Trailer Train Modified from 1973!
I've had a few guy argue that this car
was driven by Joe Kristan.  Joe filled
in for Bay when his USAC schedule
kept him from running locally. See
Joe's page for more pic's of this car!
