Jeff Wilke is the son of Bill Wilke who spent many a weekend running the popular red white and blue Mopars around the old 1/4 mile track in the Hobby division at Lake Geneva. This is where I personally started my racing career! Old Bill had plenty to teach us young bucks back in the day. Here are some of Bills lessons that I always raced with. Smile- Racin's alot more fun if you smile. The Chrome Horn- Treat your compitions rear bumper like you'd like to have yours treated! And like wise if you mess with mine- your goin for ride!! Loved racin with Bill and he's one of the best on track teachers that I recall from 15 years of racing.
Enough about Bill and I!
Jeff took his own road when it came to racing. Jeff went Sprint Car Racing! Even did well enough to be crowned the 1983 IRA Rookie of the Year!
Many of Jeff's photo's are from Beaver Dam and Hales Corners but they do include some IRA travelers of the day. Some are of special shows that include IRA, EWSC and MSC running together.
Thanks for sharing Jeff!

1973 Here a few shots Jeff had from 73. There's no better way to get the racin bug than lookin over a car on the trailer for some young race fans. That's Jeff and some buddies lookin her over.
